MEET RACHEL

Much like a lot of others, I started tinkering in the garden around Covid, and have grown my garden skills since then. Now working on becoming a certified gardener, I’ve been bringing the joy and beauty of backyard gardens to the Kansas City area. I started gardening for several different reasons. Being a nurse, my mind was always filled with the day to day troubles of other people, and letting go of that could sometimes be very difficult. Gardening created a space of solitude where I could clear my head, enjoy the sounds, get my hands dirty, and just let those troubles wash away. And I’ll say it… but, have you watched those food documentaries put out over the past couple years? Yikes! For me, gardening provided comfort in knowing where my food was being grown and what it was being grown with. This is what I hope to bring to you.

Together, we’ll create a space that is not only beautiful, but sustainable and organic for you and your family to harvest from. A place you can be proud of, to bring friends and family to, and most importantly, for you to find solace in.
